RHS Tatton Park - Back to Back Garden Design, Gold Medal Winner

A departure from Interior design but with a golden result for this contemporary small garden design.
Ceri was faced with the challenge of using his contemporary design principals and applying them for this RHS Back to Back garden competition at Tatton Park to great success.

The design was meant to be a contemporary proposal for someone's back yard using a minimal palette of greens, whites and black. Not only visually stimulating, with its brightly coloured and playful furniture and lighting elements, but also borders were planted densely with aromatic herbs and plants beneath sculptural fig trees.

Senses were further stimulated with the sound of water coming from two water features and low level music carefully concealed within outdoor speakers. The judges were impressed by the playful simplicity and clean lines of the design making it a garden that could be emulated in visitors back yards on their return home.
